Public accessibility

As a charity partnership working in the equality, diversity and inclusion sector, it is vital that all employees are alive to potential reasonable adjustments that we can make to its interface with the public, such as services, training, facilities, literature, website etc, that will improve access for all those who come into contact with us. Employees are encouraged to tell us if they identify any reasonable adjustments that may be made.

We are also very pleased to hear from the public if there are any reasonable adjustments that you think we could make to what we do and the services we offer. Please email us at admin@transjersey.org with your suggestions.

Employee accessibility

We are committed to enabling all employees to thrive and to give of their best whilst at work. Employees with a variety of health conditions may find social barriers exist that prevent them from doing this on a permanent or temporary basis. We take our duty to remove any barriers that exist which prevent employees from fully participating in the workplace seriously.

Website accessibility

We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

To help us make our website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for our website.

We’ve worked hard on our website and we monitor the website regularly to maintain it at Level AA, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch by email or by using the form below.
