Gender therapy is not delivered by us, but by a fully-qualified Jersey Health Service psychiatrist. You do not have to travel to the UK for gender therapy appointments. Although you do not visit the NHS in the UK, supervision of Jersey’s clinicians is provided by senior NHS Tavistock gender clinicians.

Most clients will see their gender therapist for at least two appointments before hormone therapy or surgery is considered. This allows for the client to fully explore their options with their therapist.
